About

In less than 1 week, I (Craig) will compete in the 9th Annual Lake Fork Flyathlon. A Flyathlon is not just a typical race; it's a harmonious blend of trail running, fly-fishing prowess, maybe some beer drinking, and environmental stewardship. The end goal of each Flyathlon is to raise money to conserve and restore native fish populations and the freshwater ecosystems that sustain them.

I look forward to this race each year. The camaraderie of old and new friends, fishing, running, and fall weather make this a fantastic Colorado weekend.

Running Rivers is a grassroots 501 (c) (3) organization. Every Flyathlon is committed to conserving and restoring native fish populations in freshwater ecosystems by inspiring people to engage in conservation through unique recreational events, education, and on-the-ground projects.

Please consider donating to help our freshwater friends live a happy and healthy life. 🎣🐟
