8th Annual Lake Fork Flyathlon

In less than 15 days, I (Craig) will compete in the 8th Annual Lake Fork Flyathlon. A Flyathlon is not just a typical race; it's a harmonious blend of trail running, fly-fishing prowess, maybe some beer drinking, and environmental stewardship. The end goal of each Flyathlon is to raise money to conserve and restore native fish populations and the freshwater ecosystems that sustain them.
I look forward to this race each year. The camaraderie of old and new friends, fishing, running, and fall weather make this a fantastic Colorado weekend. I aim to raise $2500 between now and September 21, 2024.
Running Rivers is a grassroots 501c3 organization. Every Flyathlon is committed to conserving and restoring native fish populations in freshwater ecosystems by inspiring people to engage in conservation through unique recreational events, education, and on-the-ground projects.
